Responsibilities

• Install, repair, service, test and perform routine maintenance of security, fire alarm and camera systems 
• Perform alarm installations, upgrades, equipment additions and system takeovers
• Demonstrate systems for customers and explain how to  use products
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clientele
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in an efficient and professional manner
• Follow all guidelines for maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Produce detailed work reports and documentation of services performed
• Exhibit professional neat appearance, positive attitude and conduct in accordance with established company standards
• Able to be a team player and work well with co-workers
• Perform all work assignments safely and timely

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Driver’s License & clean driving record required
• General knowledge of building construction, wiring, and New York State fire code
• Need to be able to work on ladders and work in confined spaces
• Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass background check
• Experience in installing, servicing, and inspecting security systems, fire alarm systems, camera surveillance systems, and access control systems or other related fields 
• Resideo Honeywell and/or Fire-Lite knowledge a plus
• Prior industry-related experience is preferred but willing to train
• Willing to work overtime, extra shifts, and emergency on-call schedule
